LESLIE and DOUG DAVIS, the founders of HeartCall Ministries, have dedicated their lives to serving God through counseling others. Leslie has a master’s degree in counseling from Illinois State University, certification as a suicide intervention specialist, training in theophostic prayer and is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. Doug has been in the ministry for nearly 30 years as a full-time pastor at Arthur Southern Baptist Church in Arthur, Ill., and is also a teacher and a counselor. Leslie and Doug have the training and the heart for God to help others, especially married couples.

A SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM DOUG AND LESLIE:

Doug and I have long sensed God’s call to teach the ways and tell of the blessings that He has given us through our marriage. The catalyst of this in my life was when Matthew 10:27 repeatedly came to my attention while Doug and I were having many conversations about how God has taught us to be patient, to love, to respect, to be honorable and trustworthy.

These are the qualities, along with some skills and insight, that we hope to help you acquire as we take this journey together. We hope to help you find strength in your marriage through what Christ has to offer—Hope.

We think that you are amazing, and that God has placed you right here for such a time as this. So, have hope—hope that Christ knows you, has brought you together as a couple, and has a plan for your lives. Christ is still in the business of strengthening marriages, restoring relationships, repairing broken trust, and redeeming lost time.  So, no matter where you are in your relationship, God wants to meet you there.

Blessings,

Doug and Leslie
